<p>Lahore [Pakistan], June 14 (ANI): Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Thursday questioned if the former President Pervez Musharraf will even appear before the court today or not.</p><p>"Find out if Musharraf will appear before court or not," the chief justice remarked while heading a four-judge bench, hearing a case filed by Musharraf in 2015 against the rejection of his nomination papers in the 2013 general election, as per Geo News.</p><p>The CJP ordered the deputy attorney general to get an update on Musharraf's appearance which was scheduled for 2pm on Thursday and asked him to submit a reply in the court at the earliest.</p><p>Last night, the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Secretary-General Dr Amjad said Musharraf is unlikely to return to the country today, citing, difficulties in purchasing tickets back home.</p><p>The travel is made even more difficult as his passport still blocked.</p><p>The ex-president was trying to get new dates from the courts, Dr Amjad informed.</p><p>Nisar further said that the scrutiny of Musharraf's nomination papers for the upcoming General Election would not be allowed if he failed to return to Pakistan.
